Since its inception, Linda Sosa has worked on various initiatives such as the creation of a brigade to support a community through Hurricane Mitch, donation of vaccines for COVID, educational scholarships and educational programs for youth development.
The idea of the Linda Sosa Foundation was born on August 8, 2024, during a meeting with Dr. Alejandra Campos, where both questioned how could support young people to continue in school and finish their studies successfully. In the midst of Linda Sosa’s concern and vocation to always support the community, it was decided to create the foundation to support young people through experiences and knowledge, increasing the interest of children and young people to continue in schools and to be able to complete their higher education successfully.
The main motivation was the desire to provide opportunities and improve the quality of life, firmly believing that education is essential for children and youth to reach their full potential. It was decided that it was necessary to act and make a difference so it was decided to create ¨Fundación Linda Sosa¨ where children and young people will have the opportunity to access a quality education and learn the English language so that it is not a barrier in their personal and professional development.
We dream of a society in which every young person is empowered to achieve their dreams and contribute positively by becoming an agent of change. Through this foundation we aspire to create a future in which education is a bridge to equitable opportunities and a driver of social transformation.
Our mission is to promote access to quality education for children and young people. Encouraging them to develop their academic, personal and professional potential. Through scholarship programs, mentoring, and educational resources. We believe in the power of education as a tool for equality and development and we are committed to inspiring and supporting every young person to become good adults and future agents of change in their environment.
