At the Linda Sosa Foundation, we firmly believe that leadership with purpose transforms lives. Today, we celebrate with immense pride an achievement that honors not only our founder but the entire community that walks alongside us.

Our Founder, President, and CEO, Linda Sosa, was recognized with the “Vale la Pena Award” by Scouting Colorado on October 30, 2025. This accolade distinguishes Hispanic leaders whose work, commitment, and service create a positive and lasting impact on the community.

 

The Vale la Pena “Worth the Effort” Award honors individuals who, through their leadership, inspire others, pave the way, and create opportunities for new generations. This recognition reflects Linda Sosa’s trajectory as a leader committed to education, community development, and the empowerment of the Hispanic community.

Over the years, Linda has worked tirelessly to break down barriers and build bridges to educational opportunities, demonstrating that when one leads with heart, vision, and perseverance, dreams truly can become a reality.

We express our sincerest gratitude to Scouting Colorado for this meaningful recognition and for their ongoing commitment to leadership, service, and the strengthening of our community.

We extend a special thank you to Mike Fifhause, CEO & Scout Executive of Scouting Colorado, for his leadership, vision, and support, as well as to Mariana Larrea, Associate Development Director of Scouting Colorado, for her guidance, trust, and constant support. Their dedication and commitment make it possible for stories of positive impact to be recognized and celebrated.

This recognition celebrates not just individual leadership, but the collective effort of a community that believes in the power of education and collaboration. Every scholarship awarded, every tutoring program, every partnership built, and every student supported is part of the impact being recognized today.
